Forklift Mechanic

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• 3+ years’ experience in repair and maintenance on forklifts.
• Possess superior mechanical skills and abilities.
• Analyze and diagnose engine problems and any other problems related to mobile equipment forklifts.
• Maintain appropriate records regarding preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain and repair fleet equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform routine welding and fabrication work on heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Certifications and licenses needed
• Experience in heavy equipment mechanics
• Must be able to read codes, instructions, and electrical and hydraulic schematics
• High school diploma.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Works with mechanical, hydraulic, and electric schematics demonstrates proficiency in the use of test equipment.
